To the family and friends of Linda Mills, I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the lost of a beloved family member is one of the hardest thing that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in the wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promise each of us that very soon, he is going to reunite to reunite us back with all those loved ones that we have lost. (John 5:29,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mrs. Linda. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.

The longest and closest friend to Eva, you were her sister in heart for 40 years. You were always a caring and loving friend to our family and as to many - a second mom. I will miss the wonderful fudge you made for me at christmas, the cards, the notes, the text message hearts, and your sweet laughter. You are in our hearts always and not forgotten. We love you and feel your love from heaven. Love always, John, Fred, Eva & Arden (and little Buddy too)

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Linda's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our hope that helps us recover and gives us power to go on. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort (Ps.83:18) be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.

i don't have to tell all of you what a special person your mom was, you and everyone else who had her as a friend knows how special she was, i never had a sister, she came as close as anyone to filling that place, i know that she felt she had the best family in the world and she loved each of you unconditionally. you are all in my prayers. irene
