HUNTINGTON: Jean A Young, 75, passed away on November 28, 2016 in Ferron, Utah. She was born on January 8, 1941 in Tooele, Utah to Leonard and Melva Ayers.

Mom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved to crochet, quilt and do crafts. Mom was an avid genealogist, most of all she loved her family, especially her precious grand and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Willard John Young, children Suzanne Jean (Troy L) Anderson, Lauralyn (Eric) Gravatt, Karryn Nannett Birch and Gary Willard (Misty) Young, 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, siblings Wayne (Patty) Ayers, Linda Ayers, Shirley (Harold) Ashworth, Eileen Anderson and Guy Lee.

She is preceded in death by her father Leonard Ayers, her mother and step father Melva and Bob Lee, her brother and sister Larry and Peggy Kay Lee, two sons-in-law Kurt Brasher and Alan Birch.

A viewing will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 620 North Main Street, Huntington, Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Huntington 1st Ward, 115 South 400 East, Huntington, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Huntington City Cemetery entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home.  Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Jean at www.heritagefuneralhomeutah.com.
