This was indeed such a loss to your family. I am so sad for all of you. The death of a loved one changes us.....until we are reunited with them... There is a promise from Jesus, he said..."there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous"! I look forward to that time too when we will welcome back our dead loved ones to a perfect world ad God intended for us.

Laurie and family: I was glad to attend Sheldon's funeral services. Through those that spoke I could see and feel what a wonderful man he had been here on earth. To have a husband, dad and grandfather show such tenderness and love for his family is not always present, but he did and that is wonderful. In the future if you choose to accept the opportunity of being sealed to Sheldon for time and eternity I hope you will invite us to celebrate with you. I can put together a memory quilt of his t-shirts or if you go to a quilt site called 'stitched' on the internet you can have some of his photos put into a quilt. May God bless you in the days and years ahead. Family first for eternity has and will always be Gods plan for his children. May His tender mercies be present on every path you choose. Love you today and always.

Laurie, Josh and families, My sincere heartfelt condolences to all with the loss of Sheldon. I am so happy that he was a bright spot at the park when we did Kaylees proclamation. Sheldon was one of my best friends from elementary school through high school graduation. We both grew up in Talmage on farms and were friends from the start. We had a lot of fun and adventures and following high school graduation, we worked together in the oil field and took a rough ride through main street Duchesne in a 2 ton work truck hauling pipe that lost the brakes on the hill coming into town. It was a miracle we survived and so did those traveling on main street at the time. He was a great friend and although schooling, marriage and employment divided us, I have thought of him often and kept up with his life through his brothers who still live around here. Sheldon, you will be missed and I want his family to know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sometimes life seems so unfair, and good guys like Sheldon leave before we are ready and willing to let them go, but I was honored to call him my friend for many years.

I am so sorry for the great loss you and your family have. We share in your grief, it is a great loss for the entire family. I (Guy) am taking treatments for cancer and won't be able to come over for the viewing or funeral but our prayers are with you and know that we love you and wish we knew you and your family better.
