Welcome to the memorial page for

Marlo Wood Kemple

January 24, 1969 ~ September 25, 2014 (age 45) 45 Years Old
Marlo Sue Kemple returned to her Father in Heaven on Sept. 25, 2014. She was born on January 24th, 1969 to her parents Paul and Laura Lee Wood. Marlo attended Huntington Elementary, Canyon View Jr. High, and she is a graduate of Emery High School Class of 1987.
On the 18th of May in 1990, Marlo married John Kemple in the Salt Lake Temple. She graduated from Utah State University and was able to teach elementary students in Price and Wellington until her health would no longer allow her to continue teaching.
Even though Marlo had lost her leg to her second round of cancer, she still jumped on the trampoline, rode four-wheelers, and went camping with her kids. Nothing brought Marlo more happiness than raising her three children: Kennedy, Kraymer, and McKoy.
Marlo was witty and had a great sense of humor. She filled her home with love... and clocks. She prided herself on the decorations in her home, and her collection of clocks definitely gave her bragging rights. Marlo's optimism will be missed. She could easily light up any room.
She was great at public speaking. She used her life's struggles to inspire others. Her greatest legacy has been enduring to the end. She is truly a talented woman. She spent many years crafting professionally, and toward the end of her life, she spent a lot of time writing. She is leaving behind an autobiography for her family and memories that they will cherish forever.
Marlo is survived by her husband John Kemple; her children Kennedy, Kraymer, and McKoy; her parents Paul and Laura Lee Wood and Richard and DeAnna Kemple; her sister Laurie (Gary) Fox; brothers Darren (Karen) Wood and Conn (Carol) Wood.
