Price, UT - Ross Marquez, 78, 4/20/22 in Price, UT.

Ross was born on August 6th, 1943 in Price, UT to Jose “Frank” Marquez and Lupe Gallegos Marquez. He was married to Dolores Moreno Marquez in Price, UT on September 7th, 1963. 

He graduated highschool in Price, moved to Salt Lake City, and soon after became a successful self-made man with multiple businesses in the area. After his retirement, Ross and Dolores spent time in Hurricane, UT and Cedaredge, CO. 

He had many passions including everything and anything car related, flying his airplanes, hunting, fishing, and attending mountain man rendezvous. He loved animals, especially his two dogs, Joy and Chico. 

Family meant everything to Ross as he spent his later years with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He enjoyed any moment he could get with them, whether it be occasional visits to weekly phone calls. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores; their children Denise (Jim) Peterson and Ross Jr. (Lani) Marquez; grandchildren Jeremy and Chelsea Terry, Chad, Erik, and Ally Marquez, and great-granddaughter Payton Fox; his brother Tino (Lena) Marquez, and sisters Loraine Helling and Lydia McDonald. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Darlene Trujillo, and brother Frank Marquez.

There will be no funeral service, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Ross’ name to his favorite charities: Wounded Warriors and/or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
