Message from ReNida Heidel - June 16 at 06:16 PM

Just read about Afton. What a wonderful sister in the gospel. Sending my love to all the family. I'll never forget when Afton and I roomed together many years ago as Laurel leaders at the conference in Rexburg. We had a fabulous time playing tag with the young women and laughing ourselves silly. She has such a delightful spirit. I've thought a lot about her over the years. My life was truly blessed by having her cross my earthy path. Harvey, may the Lord be a comfort to you and your family in the coming hours and days. ReNida Heidel, Citrus Heights, CA

We have fond memories of sharing our wonderful South Africa Cape Town Mission experiences with Afton and Harvey. What a great team they were, always a ready smile and delightful company, loved by everyone who met them. Harvey, we are sorry for your loss of your sweet wife...but know that you will be together forever one day. Much love to you...Gordon and Carolyn Owen
Message from Nancy & Jim Campbell - May 27 at 04:03 PM

Afton's sweet smile and always happy countenance endeared her to me and so many who knew her in the Provo Utah Grandview 9th Ward and Grandview Farm Condominiums when she lived here. We remember her walking with Harvey as he exercised his responsibilites over the Condo Landscape. I was her Visiting Teacher and so enjoyed all the times we spent talking and reminiscing with her when she was a nurse and living in Idaho. She was a great friend and sister in the Gospel. We will meet again! Nancy Campbell and Jim too

Message from Sharon Case - May 25 at 12:27 PM

Dave and I and our family had the wonderful pleasure to live next door to Afton and Harvey for almost 30 years. We love and appreciate them both so very much. Afton was always such a beautiful example of service, love, and cheerfulness. You rarely saw her without that beautiful smile. Afton was a great example of how to keep a house and yard clean and neat. I knew it was time to wash my windows when Afton started washing hers! She was an incredible cook and she shared with me several of her recipes. Thank you, Afton and Harvey, for being the best neighbors anyone could ever wish for! With much love, Sharon and Dave Case

I remember Afton very well - she and Zelda had their room next to ours in Nursing. She was always laughing and a happy. We loved her - and since my married name is the same as her maiden name - makes it feel special. She will be missed here and greetedwith open arms on the other side. Our thoughts go out to her family. Till you meet her again.
