One of the highlights of our Sundays was visiting with Darlene at the home in Elmo. She loved to talk about her kids. She talked about their talents and their families and where they were. She was so very proud of all of you. She loved to talk about all the places she lived, and missed her dear husband.
I will miss seeing her. I am sorry we missed her services. I didn't know she had passed till I went to the post office, they same time the service was going on. I would have loved to be there to honor her. I hope she knows that. We will miss her.

Darlene was a sweet lady. I will treasure the memories I have of her and her family. RIP I am sad of your passing. I amgrateful to have known you and you are free of your earthly trials.

Sister Witte was one of my favorite primary teachers. She taught our primary class-the "terrible"class no one else wanted to teach- for about three years. I'll always remember how I enjoyed her class and how she made it so fun.
