LaRene,It was Easter weekend (4/19/2014). You and Bill pulled in Joel and Kathy's driveway with the buggy. You had that beautiful happy smile and hug us and happy to see us. Easter Morning Joel put together an Easter Basket for you and took it to your house. He was happy and said you liked your Easter Basket. You and your wonderful husband Bill spend the whole Easter Sunday with your Family at Ash's house. That is Family! Thank-you. Many more memories will be shared. I hope you Keep Smiling... Love you! Ohhhh LaRene! Life is not fair! I miss that I didn't get to have more of your good years. I think about how much you mean to me and how Great you loved and I am in awe! So glad I got to have you for a time.I remember that ride we took in the truck on Valentines day and how funny it was to listen to you and Bill in the back seat. Talking about putting your seat belt on and how he could not accomplish this task. I laughed from the driveway to BKs and then all the way to Salina and still chuckle inside when I think about how fun that was.I remember how Joel used to tell me his mother was going to hit me with a fly swatter and when I finally told you about this, you said you were going to hit him with it. One thing for sure I am going to your house to find that fly swatter with the pretty flower on it and taking it home. I want to remember how cute and fun you were and when I look at it on my wall I will think of your witty personality. I miss you already and hope you leave me some dimes ;)Love Kathy

I will laugh until I bust a gut over the Valentine's dinner and the story shared at Dennys with Joel, Kathy, Rowland, and I. A roaring good time was had by all.

Grandma took us step kids in like we were her own and she loved my babies like they were her grand babies. My kids absolutely LOVE her. she treated us the same as all the other grand kids which is hard to do, and we love her so much for that!! I just love her witty personality and how much she loved grappa, they are the kind of people that make the world a better place. Love u both!!!
