I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. You can find much comfort in the Holy Scriptures which assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept my deepest sympathies

Dear Kemple and Wood Families: We were so sorry to miss Marlo's service because we were out of town. She was truly an inspiration to all of us who knew her! She was always so pleasant to be around, and we loved her contagious laugh and smile! What beautiful family members she leaves behind ~ we are truly sorry for your loss. May God keep you in his loving arms. Love, Todd & Nadene Hinkins

I and my twin sister(DeOnn) attended elementary school with Marlo years ago. We also saw each other a few times as teenagers after I had moved away. Marlo was always very very nice to be around. Anyone could tell that she had great parents just by the way she treated everyone. She left this world a better place for her being in it.DeAnn Cole

I went to elementary, junior high and high school with Marlo. She was always nice to me and I am so sad to hear of her passing. I hope the family can take comfort that she and her husband were married in the Temple and will be reunited again. You are all in my prayers. Leigh Ann (Oman) Stambaugh

Message from Holli Thornton - October 02, 2014 at 01:49 PM

Marlo and I went to elementary school together in Huntington. She was one of my best friends. I remember her helping me memorize my times tables. I remember her infectious smile and laugh. She was such a happy person. I still remember birthday parties with her. I really only saw her, and Shelly Cook, once as adults shortly after she was married. She was so in love and so happy to be married. I remember asking her to do something later and she declined because she wanted to spend that time with her new husband. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll bet she brought so much happiness to your lives. I will keep you all in my prayers. We will all see our loved ones again someday. Much love, Holli (Hutchings) Thornton.

What an amazing person Marlo was, with a heart as wise and large as the great outdoors. While I recovered from my broken leg in 1989, she visited often, and made the mending very, very pleasant! She had a special bond with Dad (Grant Wilson), and he appreciated her courage, perseverance, and fortitude as few others could, and he often talked of his love and admiration for Marlo and her family. Nelda Wilson sends her sympathies as well. This loving woman will be sorely missed. What a great legacy she left, and our love and prayers are with all family members at this time.

Marlo, We are going to miss you dearly. You were the most amazing, strongest, loving and most inspirational woman we knew. I admired you so much. You have taught so many people so many wonderful things, especially how to be strong and never give up. Even when you were knocked down by cancer, you beat it and jumped right back up and showed it who was the boss. You always had a smile on your face and words of encouragement for everyone. Even when you were in pain, you had that beautiful smile on your face. You have touched so many lives in such a beautiful loving and caring way. You will forever be in our thoughts, prayers and lives.May you rest in peace, sweet angel. Ride high with the angels, our beautiful friend. We are going to miss you so much. We love you.
