We never knew him by his name my daughter and I always called him the five dollar man. He is the sweetest and kindest man we have ever known. Rest in peace our friend and we will all exchange five bucks on the other side. Peace be with the family, Rich and Taylor

Uncle Melvin was my favorite Uncle. He was always joking and making us laugh. He loved music and loved to dance. He and Margaret loved dressing up as Santa and Mrs Claus. He will be surely missed by all.

My fond memory of Uncle Mel is one of his bob cats was tied up in the mud room(Utility room) and I came over to babysit one New Years Eve. They had a six week old baby and I was carrying the baby through the mud room to get the baby a bottle. The Bob cat jumped out of the darkness and scared the BIJIBBIES out of me and I almost dropped the baby, but I didn't. I remember Aunt Margaret coming to visit us at times to get a break from all the children. R.I.P. Uncle Mel~! Carolyn(Beardall) Buck
